Trendsetting chassis technology
Thanks to award-winning chassis technology, Fendt Vario tractors offer driving comfort and safety on the level of commercial vehicles, through the intelligent combination of a front axle with levelling control, a shock load stabilising system, and hydraulic cab suspension.

All suspension elements are mounted on a torsion-free cast half frame (1), which permits an increased payload and improved manoeuvrability. The front axle suspension permits payload-independent automatic levelling - uneven ground conditions are detected by means of a swing axle (3) centrally located in the swing arm (2). The plungers on the two hydraulic cylinders (4) displace oil, activating three nitrogen reservoirs (5) which absorb all shocks. The hydraulic cab suspension at the front (6), as well as sprung struts (7,8), control the movement of the cab in a front-to-rear direction. The integrated transverse stabiliser and the absence of unwanted bounce greatly enhance the level of driving comfort. The speed-dependent shock load stabilising system acts like a hydraulic shock absorber. Activation can be controlled with via the Vario terminal. Even with a rear-mounted implement, the operator enjoys a comfortable and safe ride without stressful bounce or reduction in speed. |
