Vario^TMS - even easier and more efficient

Using Vario^TMS Tractor Management System means that you only need to set the desired speed and your Fendt Vario^TMS automatically finds the optimum engine speed for the corresponding transmission ratio. While doing so, the TMS takes the actual load as well as the acceleration rate you have chosen into account. Together with the alternative of driving with the driving pedal, four different driving strategies are possible. Operation with or without TMS – and either with the joystick or the driving pedal.
Intelligent engine-transmission control means simple operation and highest profitability for all your operations.

In the graphic above, when the TMS is activated, on the slope the load increases, so the TMS increases the engine speed. As soon as the load decreases (on level ground or downhill) the quantity of fuel injected is reduced. This maintains an economical driving style since TMS drives the tractor at the lowest engine speed possible.
