Driving Vario - Easier than ever

The joystick is the main Variotronic control element allowing you to operate all driving functions with just a small movement of your hand.

• DRIVING FORWARD - just push the stick forward; the Vario accelerates forward from standstill.
• ACCELERATE - push the joystick forward a bit longer until you reach the desired speed.
• DECELERATE - pull the joystick back and the Vario brakes the engine and transmission.
• REVERSE - pull the joystick back and the Vario reverses from standstill.
• RATE OF ACCELERATION - how rapidly you accelerate or decelerate is determined by which of the 4 preset rates you select with the thumb control.
• AUTOMATIC FORWARD/REVERSE - a quick tap to the left on the joystick is all that is necessary to change driving direction from forward to reverse or vice versa. The Vario decelerates by itself to a standstill and then accelerates efficiently, without jerking, in the opposite direction.
• TEMPOMAT CRUISE CONTROL - a quick tap to the right on the joystick activates Tempomat, which holds the tractor at a constant preset speed, independent of engine speed.
